Just finished watching Day 5 of T:COE and I gotta say, it was pretty amazing. All the angst and trauma of BSG in 5 days, heavy stuff.

Use the "Spoiler" tag (under the [Others] button on the toolbar) to prevent spoilage!

Here's my question:

I've been seeing advertisements for that on Hulu, I know it's a Dr. Who spinoff but do you need to know a bunch about the Doctor to enjoy it?

You don't need to know a lot about DW in order to get into Torchwood. Jack was introduced through DW, but TW has really evolved his character.

Joe, Davies says he has a plan in place for season 4 of TW, should they get picked up. I can't see why they wouldn't since COE got such great ratings!

I thought I read where they were considering making TW in shorter seasons from now on, like CoE. Might have just been an article speculating though...

GK: To really get the impact of COE you need to watch the seasons that preceded it.. It's a good show, so it's totally worth it. Smile

Yeah, COE was what's known as "breaking the cutie", wherein the "Cutie" in question is the AUDIENCE Razz

You may have seen something similar on the Earth (Urf) Arc on BSG, especially the 4.0 finale and 4.5 premiere Razz
