ALIEN: Last Flight Of The Space Jockey Empty ALIEN: Last Flight Of The Space Jockey

Seems another classic film is about to enter the 'reboot factory'. Ridley Scott and Tom Scott are in the early stages of developing ALIEN: Last Flight Of The Space Jockey (or might be titled RIPLEY: Last Flight Of The Space Jockey). Yes folks 1979's ALIEN is likely to be reborn. But it seems to be more than just a retelling of the classic story. Word is that it will explore the origins of the fossilized 'space jockey' seen in the original film. The new film's title refers to that - as well as Ripley (after all she is a 'space jockey' herself job-wise). Thus drawing a comparison between the fossilized star traveling creature and the Nostromo crew member. My feelings are mixed on this development. The classic film still holds up to this day. Do we really need to reboot it? Yet if Ridley Scott and Tony Scott are behind the reboot that at least means the reboot is being conducted by the classic film's director or family member. Not sure about the xenomorph itself. Will Geiger do a reboot of the classic Alien design or will this reboot take a different direction for the xenomorph? I doubt they'll change the look of the 'space jockey'. Except now we'll see what it and its species was like - alive. AGAIN...In Space No One Can Hear You Scream... affraid
