Happy 43rd! Empty Happy 43rd!

Tonight, at 8:30 p.m. was the 43rd anniversary of Star Trek's first broadcast date on NBC. Being the good little nerd that I am I just finished watching the first episode every shown: "The Man Trap". This was, of course, not the first episode produced. However, NBC wanted a "monster loose on spaceship" type show more in keeping with the sci-fi of the era to attract viewers.

Let us pause and ponder the extreme coolness of classic Star Trek.....
