Next Trek Film News : Mudd In Your Eye

Nothing set in stone yet according to the screenplay writers, but they both like the idea of casting actor Greg Grunberg as Trek's new Harry Mudd.

I'm still betting on either the Doomsday Machine reboot or Alien Conspiracy or a combo.

Harry Mudd is a space pirate. Not a violent man. But certainly untrustworthy. He is always involved in some money making venture. He was in two or three episodes of classic live-action Trek. I think he also might have been used in the animated Trek series. Also I should point out that Mudd is NOT the space trader with the Tribbles. Many people confuse Mudd with Cyrano Jones (the Tribble wrangler).
