IT'S ALIVE Remake Release

Beware of mutant infants with shark-like teeth and hawk-like talons on Oct. 6, 2009! The misbegotten kids are on the prowl. YOU are on the menu and not just the local neighborhood cat or dog. Director Larry Cohen gave us another reason to fear the cry of hungry infants back in the 1970s. For some of us he also gave us reason to fear wicker baby buggies...oh, sure laugh, but those things are frakkin creepy! The original IT'S ALIVE is a cult classic. The remake is scheduled for release on Oct. 6, 2009. One can only hope 'it lives' up to the original.

The original IT'S ALIVE (and perhaps the remake) can serve the parents of teens. Use the classic film (and maybe the remake) as a tool to scare your teen from having an unwanted pregnancy. Now that I think about it...the classic IT'S ALIVE also can serve as anti-drug propaganda. The original mutant infants were brought about by drug use. So see parents of teens you can scare your offspring from having babies and from taking drugs with one film. Now that's a bargain!
