Is A Major SW Reboot Afoot ?

In connection to the Sansweet revelation of a post-Return Of The Jedi animated tv series other interesting developments have come to light and are now making sense. A major overhaul might be in the cards for the SW universe past Return Of The Jedi.

The Star Wars Legacy comic book is scheduled to end with issue number 50. Other SW comic book titles are ending.

The Star Wars RPG has been discontinued.

Lucasfilm has let the Clone Wars tv series take certain background elements into differing directions than what the 'Expanded Universe' has established. Thus some authors of 'Expanded Universe' material are leaving the franchise.

Now the announcement of the post-ROTJ series is on the horizon. Seems Lucasfilm is getting ready to start all over. Not unlike the Star Trek franchise. I just hope Lucasfilm opts for making use of the alternative reality plot device as did Trek.
