VIRTUALITY - Ronald D. Moore's New Sci-Fi Show - June 26

BSG fans take note - on June 26 the new RDM sci-fi TV show will be on our screens! This will be a TV-movie about a deep space mission involving twelve humans. These humans are on a ten year flight to another star system. A star system that has sent Earth alien communications. While in flight the twelve humans are in cryogenic sleep. While they sleep each has her/his own virtual reality program playing en route.

What network will this be on? Just trying to predict its chances.

It's on FOX. But that doesn't necessarily doom it yet. I mean, Dollhouse got a second chance. We'll just have to see.

Yeah it likely will not become a series. The only thing it might have going for it is RDM's name. BUT even that maybe lost on the average viewer. Fridays for most shows - particularly ORIGINAL sci-fi shows (ones without a franchise connection) are a death-spot. HOWEVER this show has my curiousity. So I'll be watching it. Because I'm a loyal sci-fi fan. Especially to sci-fi with spaceships in it. Because I wear a propellor cap with a small cloaking device attached to it.

I saw a preview on tv and it looked pretty cool, made me want to watch it.

I would LOVE if a non-fox network picked it up. I'm still pissed off at Fux for cancelling Terminator.

Yes you can type FUX here. You just can not type -F-U-C-K- here. Because typing -F-U-C-K- here might upset the balance of the 'uber-multiversal-complex'. For example just by typing -F-U-C-K- several thousand planets with many rich and diverse cultures have just suddenly shattered in one of your eyeblinks. So think about that sobering thought the next time you type -F-U-C-K- on this site. Think of all the alien children that are no more because you had the case of the 'dirty-word-key-punch-syndrome'. Yes indeed typing the word -F-U-C-K- kills.
