Futurama renewed!!!

FOX execs have just announced that Comedy Central will begin airing new episodes of Futurama!! CC has ordered 26 new episodes to be split up into 2 seasons!! They are citing awesome DVD sales and great ratings on ComCen as their reason for bringing it back.

Thoughts? I know I'm super excited!!

I'm thrilled for 2 reasons, more Futurama and more work for immensely talented Billy West!

It's great that cable channels can become new homes for shows like this.. The networks expect too much (and may require too much) from shows, whereas non-broadcast channels can provide a more targeted audience and can give a show a chance.

I hope we see more of Lrrr and Ndnd
